What marketing does the 1% listing commission include?
The 1% listing commission includes a free home evaluation, pricing strategy, a marketing plan, professional photography, listing video, drone footage, a virtual tour, floor plans, feature sheets, MLS and REALTOR.ca exposure, Facebook and Instagram advertising, a For Sale sign, open houses if you want them, showings and feedback after each one, offer negotiation and paperwork through to closing.
Will my home be on MLS and REALTOR.ca?
Yes. Listings go on the Toronto board’s MLS (TRREB) and the Hamilton-Niagara MLS, and appear on REALTOR.ca and the agent websites that pull from those boards.
Who handles showings, offers and paperwork?
Vic does. You work with one Realtor® from the first conversation to closing: pricing, showings, offer review, negotiation and paperwork.
Is this a flat-fee or MLS-only listing?
No. FairCommission is full-service real estate. A flat-fee or mere-posting listing puts your home on MLS and leaves the rest to you. Here the pricing, marketing, negotiation and paperwork are all included.
When do I pay the commission?
Commission is generally paid from the sale proceeds on closing, according to the signed agreements. It is not normally paid upfront.
